Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Yard Hand position with a local company in Tulsa that specializes in the rental of tools & equipment.
 
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tools & equipment pertaining to the construction & landscaping industries. This individual will aspire to be a subject matter expert for any equipment in the yard.
 
This position has the potential to progress into a leadership role as the business grows!
 
Full benefits are offered once permanent including full health insurance paid for employees, paid holidays, IRA retirement account, 3% matching contribution & PTO.
 
Hours: Monday - Saturdays 7:30a - 5:30p - will work (5 of 6) days each week
 
Pay: $18 - 20/hr DOE
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Subject Matter Expert in construction & lawncare equipment
  • Encourages teamwork & demonstrates a proactive mindset towards helping others
  • Loading / unloading equipment from trailers
  • Demonstrate proper use & functions of equipment
  • Power wash equipment & performing preventative maintenance on (checking/changing oil and fluids, etc.)
  • Carrying out the initial inspection of equipment to make sure there was no damage done
  • Assisting front desk and shop mechanic when necessary & perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Construction or landscaping background preferred
  • Working outside
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic & self-motivated
  • Driver's License required for possible deliveries to customers
  • Steel-Toed Boots
