Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Wire Shop Technician role with a manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK.
The Wire Shop Technician is responsible for hand soldering, and crimping terminals, building cables and wiring
machines/panels.

Hours: 6a-4:30p
Pay: $20-$24/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and perform Class 2 soldering skills
  • Inspect work product for conformance to IPC-A-620 Class 2 standards
  • Installation of mechanical, and electrical components including the operation of basic and advanced
    assembly equipment
  • Some product testing and machine operation
  • Provide initial counts of bags and labels for orders (take inventory)
  • Location of correct materials from packaging area

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in cable soldering and crimping
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and understand electrical prints and schematics
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Firm understanding of ISO standards
  • Quality oriented and Goal driven
