Warehouse Lead

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead with a specialized focus on overhead doors to lead warehouse operations.

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $19/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diligently interpret and manage purchase orders with precision and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in product acquisition.
• Identify the best prices and sources for our overhead door products, optimizing cost-efficiency.
• Oversee the ordering, unloading, storage, and retrieval of overhead door products within a well-organized warehouse facility.
• Act as the primary resource for pulling products needed for local sales, contributing to our timely customer service.
• Collaborate with the morning crew to expedite inventory preparations and assist in loading trucks, ensuring timely departures.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of overhead door parts, openers, and remote control systems, becoming the resident expert.
• Maintain meticulous organization of paperwork, accurately estimate product lead times, and ensure product availability when our customers require it.
• Utilize computer systems for order placement, order status checks, and forecasting delivery timelines.
• Foster a collaborative environment and be ready to provide support wherever it's needed within the organization.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the overhead door industry, with a strong understanding of door components and systems.
• Ability to routinely lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
• Profound knowledge of overhead door parts, openers, and remote control devices, including familiarity with the latest industry advancements.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of maintaining order and efficiency within a dynamic warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software beyond basic usage, including order management and inventory tracking systems.
