Job Description
Our client, a company specializing in Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Service, is seeking a skilled Licensed HVAC Journeyman to join their team.
Job Overview:
This role focuses exclusively on commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple job sites and managing tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This is a safety-sensitive position
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as Needed)
Pay: $30–$40 per hour (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems in commercial settings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently
- Travel between and support multiple job sites as needed
- Adapt to shifting priorities and project demands across locations
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Work safely at heights using lifts and harnesses
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid Unlimited HVAC Journeyman License
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience
- Experience working on commercial systems
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using common HVAC tools and equipment (power tools, hand tools, meters, sheet metal tools, etc.)
- Ability to work across multiple job sites and locations
- Must have own tools and steel toe boots
- Comfortable working at heights and using lifts/harnesses
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation
