Transfer Driver (Class A)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Transfer Driver (Class A) to haul waste and recyclable materials between facilities. This role is best suited for a seasoned driver comfortable with longer hauls and manual transmission equipment.
Schedule:

Monday–Friday, typically 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Some Saturdays may be available

45–50 hours per week expected
Pay:

$20–$22/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities

Transport materials between transfer stations and disposal facilities

Operate manual transmission Class A vehicles safely and efficiently

Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections

Ensure secure loads and compliance with DOT regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch and yard personnel

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL

Minimum 5 years of Class A driving experience required

Must be able to drive manual transmission

Must be 25 years or older

Clean driving record
-
Prior experience in sanitation, construction, concrete, or heavy equipment preferred

Strong safety awareness and professionalism
