Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Supply Chain Associate with a company in Tulsa, OK specializing in the manufacturing of components for the oil and has industry.
The Supply Chain Associate will support the day-to-day supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment, taking direction from the Supply Chain Manager. This role requires 3-5 years of supply chain experience, in manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on ERP system usage (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle NetSuite preferred). The ideal candidate will be capable of optimizing processes to ensure seamless production and delivery.
Hours: 7:30a-4:30p
Pay: $22-$28+ DOE
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in managing and optimizing supply chain processes from procurement to distribution.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Utilize ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite to track and manage supply chain activities.
- Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production while minimizing overstock.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and deliveries.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and work with the Supply Chain Manager to mitigate them.
- Generate reports and KPIs related to supply chain performance and provide insights to management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager and contribute to team success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
