Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Structural Engineer position with a manufacturing company located in Claremore, OK. 

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to contribute to the design and fabrication of steel structures for the electrical transmission and traffic intersection markets. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of structural engineering deliverables, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting both internal teams and customer requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain engineering standards to align with organizational goals and industry practices.
  • Design structural components for electrical power line and traffic intersection steel structures.
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations and structural analysis.
  • Provide necessary inputs for designers to create structural fabrication drawings.
  • Review structural drawings to ensure compliance with engineering and project requirements.
  • Interpret contract documents, drawings, job work orders, and customer specifications to define structure requirements.
  • Deliver engineering outputs that meet organizational and customer standards.
  • Offer technical guidance for design reviews, investigation reports, and corporate standards development and implementation.
  • Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables in alignment with project schedules.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews and provide technical expertise as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience in structural engineering and design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Solid IT skills with proficiency in using computers and office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
