Stamping Press Operator
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Stamping Press Operator to join their manufacturing team in Catoosa, OK. This position is responsible for setting up and operating stamping press equipment to produce quality sheet metal components in a fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have previous stamping press experience; however, candidates with manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a stable manufacturing environment.
Pay

$19.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on stamping press experience

$15.00–$18.00 per hour for candidates with manufacturing experience who are willing to train
Hours

Monday–Thursday 5:00 AM–3:30 PM Overtime may be available on Fridays
What You'll Do

Set up and operate stamping press equipment

Produce quality sheet metal components according to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, routers, work instructions, and bills of material

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections

Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and optical comparators

Safely operate overhead cranes and drill presses

Complete production and quality documentation

Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous stamping press or punch press experience preferred

Manufacturing experience required

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

Experience using precision measuring equipment preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety

Steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
