Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Service Manager position with a Tulsa glass company.
 
As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our residential glass installation services. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing a team of skilled technicians, and ensuring top-notch service quality, we want to hear from you!
 
Hours: 8a-5p; Overtime may be required
Pay: $55,000-$70,000
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential glass installation service department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Schedule and assign service jobs to a team of technicians, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and meeting customer expectations.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements, provide accurate estimates, and ensure quality control throughout the installation process.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate project timelines and ensure successful project completion.
  • Hire, train, and mentor service technicians, providing guidance, feedback, and ongoing performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, invoices, and customer communications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and techniques related to residential glass installation to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers and team members.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
  • Monitor service department performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the residential glass installation industry, with a focus on customer service and team management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential glass products, installation methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of service technicians.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in computer applications and software related to service management, scheduling, and customer relationship management.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites and client locations as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns and conflicts with tact and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to glass installation services.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in glass installation is preferred.
