Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Service Manager position with a company in Muskogee, OK specializing in the sell and service of agricultural equipment.
Our client is a reputable and established farm and construction equipment company dedicated to delivering top-notch products and exceptional service to our valued customers. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our team and manage our service department, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Pay: $55,000-$70,000
Hours: 8a-5p
Responsibilities:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department staff.
· Recruit, train, and establish work schedules for service staff.
· Address and resolve escalated customer concerns and complaints, both in person, over the phone, and via email.
· Provide repair estimates to customers and offer timely status updates on ongoing repairs.
· Collaborate with sales and other departments to facilitate equipment transfers and deliveries.
· Assist customers in establishing payment arrangements for equipment services when full payment is not possible.
· Collect service payments when necessary and ensure accurate record-keeping.
· Coordinate with the warranty/insurance department to maintain accurate and up-to-date paperwork.
· Work closely with the Store Manager to align service goals with overall sales and inventory objectives.
· Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the smooth operation of the service department.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
· Up-to-date knowledge of a variety of farm/construction products sold and serviced.
· Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
· Proficiency in MS Office and email systems, as well as the ability to navigate computer systems.
· High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
· Prior experience in equipment service and service writing.
· Previous leadership experience within a service department.
· Safe operation of forklift and/or heavy equipment.
