Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Senior Project Manager position with a company located in Tulsa, OK.

Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years in project management
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; certifications like PMP, PgMP, or CAPM highly desirable

The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex projects involving the design, manufacturing, and delivery of industrial power distribution centers, including E-houses and custom modular enclosures. This individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to manage client relationships, internal resources, and project schedules effectively.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 annually, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Team Management: Direct a team of managers and analysts to achieve project goals on schedule, meeting specifications and quality standards.
  • Project Planning & Task Delegation: Define project tasks and delegate effectively based on expertise, workload, and deadlines.
  • Budgeting & Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis, prepare budgets, and manage resources to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks, communicating potential issues to leadership and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the organization and external customers and vendors. Work closely with sales and marketing to provide necessary project insights and support.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant regulatory, industry, and contractual standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (required).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on industrial power distribution centers or related fields.

Technical & Other Skills:

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, industrial enclosures, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, or similar design software (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Office365).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
