Job Description

We’re seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join a leading steel fabrication company specializing in custom-engineered structures for utilities, infrastructure, and lighting applications. This role will be responsible for managing key accounts, pursuing new business opportunities, and overseeing customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial or manufacturing sales, a technical understanding of production processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional results.

Location: Claremore, OK
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite
Travel: Occasional travel for client meetings and industry trade shows
Pay: $80,000-$110,000 Base DOE  
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to identify growth opportunities and maximize revenue potential.

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and business goals.

  • Manage RFPs and quoting processes, ensuring pricing aligns with company guidelines and customer requirements.

  • Coordinate with Estimating, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure customer expectations align with production capabilities.

  • Oversee incoming orders, monitor order status, and maintain clear, professional communication with customers and vendors.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, client meetings, and networking events.

  • Take on additional responsibilities related to sales, estimating, and customer management as needed.

  • Maintain reliable and punctual attendance for this onsite role.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales within a heavy-duty, industrial, or manufacturing environment.

  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and methods preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business development and customer engagement.
