Receiving Clerk
Job Description
We are looking to fill a Receiving Clerk position with a Tulsa manufacturing facility.
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years in similar role utilizing an ERP.MRP system (SAP is highly preferred), be detail oriented, self-disciplined, and driven.
Hours: 8a-4:30p (Overtime may be required so 6a-6p availability is needed)
Pay: $17-$20 DOE
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, notifies Incoming QC of damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Materials Manager to rectify damages and shortages.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- May operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and- receiving platform to storage or work area.
- May direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.
- May receive damaged or defective goods returned and submits for QC inspection or evaluation..
- Interfaces with Procurement to clarify orders or for acceptance of shortages or substitutions.
- Assembles or assists in assembling parts for Technical Service orders.
- Monitors email, voicemail, and phone orders for Technical Service parts orders.
- Enters receipts of inventory orders into SAP and reports discrepancies
- Transports parts from receiving into the appropriate inventory warehouse.
- Interface with Assembly Supervisor for orders that require assembly or assistance.
- Notify parts order requestor of shipment and provide email packing list with shipment details and tracking information.
- Maintain a log of machine and crate shipments and reports changes to management.
- Oversee all new inventory placements and overflow stacking.
- Coordinate with Technical Service to supply non urgent standing inventory supplies.
- Participate in inventory counts and organization as well as maintaining an orderly inventory storage area.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Receiving Capacity.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP System (SAP Preferred).
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a Team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.
