• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials and finished products
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain accurate inspection records
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials to prevent further processing
• Re-inspect reworked parts to ensure compliance with specifications
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and other inspection equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, bills of material, and work instructions
• Maintain inspection documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to date
• Support calibration of inspection equipment and maintain calibration records
• Monitor processes and support continuous improvement efforts using quality tools such as SPC and root cause analysis
• Communicate quality issues to production teams and leadership
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, SPC, and quality control processes preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, stamping, or fabrication
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• ASQ certifications (Quality Inspector, Technician, or similar)
• Experience with calibration processes and inspection documentation systems
