Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Quality Control Technician role with a company in Tulsa, OK.
Our client is a growing and innovative company seeking a motivated Quality Control Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid PC skills who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic production environment. No prior background in electromechanical quality is required, as training will be provided, especially in uploading programs to their machines from custom software. You'll also work closely with the Application Engineering team, which resolves any programming issues before and after uploads. Pay: $18-$20/hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (May start as early as 6:00 AM when required)
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Technician plays a vital role in supporting all quality production processes, including both pre- and post-production procedures. You’ll motivate and assist the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals while ensuring all safety policies are followed. This position focuses on maintaining high standards of product quality, conducting mechanical testing, and implementing Lean tools and concepts to improve workflow and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify product quality and ensure adherence to engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Collect and report all quality metrics using Microsoft Forms.
- Communicate defects found during the QC inspection process to operations team members.
- Sign off on critical-to-quality projects during layered audits.
- Appropriately use QC stamps and provide quality approval on projects.
- Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings to address issues and ensure compliance.
- Conduct root cause investigations to resolve quality issues.
- Perform incoming product inspections and end-of-line product testing.
- Assist in training operations team members on quality standards.
- Sustain 5S+Safety standards and continuously work to eliminate waste in the department.
- Maintain and improve a positive work culture within the team.
Job Requirements

- Ability to use or quickly learn programming software, including Microchip Studio, Smart System, Pro12Z Programmer, IM-pack, and SPM Super-Pro for Windows.
