Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team. This position is responsible for ensuring precision machined parts meet customer specifications and quality standards through detailed inspections and accurate documentation. Candidates should be comfortable performing first article inspections, interpreting blueprints, and using precision measuring equipment in a machining environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $23–$25 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform first article inspections on machined components.
  • Inspect precision parts to verify conformance to customer specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify nonconforming parts and communicate findings to production personnel.
  • Support quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a CNC Machinist or Quality Control Inspector.
  • Experience performing first article inspections.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Understanding of machining processes, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • ISO experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work independently.
