Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Commercial Construction Project Manager Position with a Tulsa area company.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations on projects performed during construction and closeout of a project.

Shift: Monday- Friday
Hours: Office is open 8:00am– 5:00pm; overtime and hours outside this time frame required based on job demands
Starting Pay: $60,000 - $85,000 yearly depending on experience

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects to achieve or beat financial and safety objectives from the office and field locations
  • Work with Estimators, Operations Manager, Safety and Superintendents on successful bids to provide smooth and thorough transition to the project team
  • Estimate material requirements/ assist in ordering the materials
  • Develop and coordinate budgets and Master Backlog/ Working Schedule
  • Address and resolve billing and payment issues
  • Address general contractors' and owners' issues to assure customer satisfaction
  • Act as liaison between company and the client professionals involved in projects
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Project Engineer

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 4 years related degree or equivalent combination of technical training and or field experience
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Experience managing jobs from 3-0million in scope
  • Proficiency with Procore software
  • Ability to read, interpret, and resolve inconsistencies and problems in construction plans and specifications
  • Strong understand of the basic materials and methods used by trade partners to ensure compliance with company construction standards
  • Solid knowledge of construction safety practices
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to use a computer to submit weekly and daily reports and/or status updates
  • Self-motivated and the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Professionalism in dress, manners, and conduct
  • Decision making skills with ability to determine alternative work assignments during inclement weather and/or when a schedule change is required


Physical Demands:

  • Inspect project progress which requires walking on slopes and uneven terrain or rocks
  • Occasionally lifting items of varying weights (between 20 and 50 pounds)
  • Extended periods of standing or sitting
  • Periodic stooping, kneeling, and bending
