Cost Accountant
Job Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team in Tulsa. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys digging into numbers to support manufacturing and product development. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate cost systems, analyzing financial impact, and helping drive efficiency across the organization.
Hours: 7:30a-4:30p
Pay: $55,000-$65,000
What You’ll Do

Maintain and validate the standard cost system, including cost rolls, product structures, methods, and variances

Audit product costs and analyze the effects of cost changes on materials and work centers

Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve product and project financial goals

Support product development by analyzing engineering changes, materials, and manufacturing methods, and providing cost estimates

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Support automation projects, physical inventory activities, and cost savings verification

Cross-train with the accounting team and recommend improvements to internal cost accounting procedures

Adhere to IFRS and internal control guidelines

Perform additional duties as needed

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
-
1–3 years of manufacturing accounting experience (or equivalent)

CMA certification preferred
-
Knowledge of new product development or cost estimating a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills required)

Experience with ERP systems

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing conditions

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
