Production Control Specialist

Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Production Control Specialist position with a Tulsa company specializing in robotic systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Excel, and must be passport eligible with the willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia approximately twice a year. This role demands excellent coordination with vendors, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, as there are numerous moving parts and multiple departments requiring updates and coordination.
Key responsibilities include interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the appropriate machinery needed for production. The specialist will then coordinate with external parties to manufacture the required products. This position is well-suited for someone with an engineering background who understands the manufacturing process and has experience working in a machine shop. The candidate should be adept at reading prints and managing complex projects with precision and efficiency.
Hours: 6a-4:30p
- Perform manufacturing activities with engineering and operations.
- Work with engineering team to plan the construction efforts based on associated AFE or job numbers.
- Submits change requests to engineering as discovering during production planning or manufacturing.
- Provides feedback to engineering team to improve release packages.
- Distributes work orders to departments, denoting quantity, type, and proposed completion date of units being produced.
- Constructs inventory and manufacturing data in ERP system based on engineering drawings.
- Assists in archiving project correspondence and documentation.
- Maintains history of all production and purchasing done for construction jobs.
- Identifies and documents suggestions for improvements and enhancements to processes to increase effectiveness and productivity.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with expert level of Excel
- Autocad and Solidworks
experience - Experienced reading blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and test reports
- Knowledge of purchasing and inventory skills
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Minimum 2 years of related manufacturing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronic assembly practices
- Must be passport eligible
