Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Portfolio Manager position with a Tulsa bank.

The Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager oversees and coordinates all aspects of a commercial loan portfolio, including underwriting, analysis, past dues, exceptions. Works in partnership with commercial lenders, market presidents and Chief Lending Officers for the commercial lending division.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in underwriting of commercial loans and preparation of loan packages
  • Ensure commercial loans comply with commercial lending policies
  • Assist in timely gathering of appropriate financial data, monitoring, clearing of loan covenants, and loan exceptions
  • Inform commercial lenders and senior management of financial trends within the commercial loan portfolio
  • Manage assigned client relationships within the commercial banking loan portfolio
  • Assist with monitoring of credit quality, financial analysis, loan extensions, cross selling of other bank products
  • Exercises awareness regarding possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department
  • Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal, state, and local laws as well as regulations applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules
 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidates will have experience with Commercial loan portfolio underwriting and management
  • Advanced knowledge of complex commercial loan structures, in-depth analysis, and critical thinking
  • Excellent financial analysis, organizational, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry, ABRIGO and construction management software preferred, but not required
  • Bachelors degree with business, finance, economics or accounting major and/or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, asset management, and/or commercial loan underwriting
