Pool Maintenance Technician

Job Description
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Pool Maintenance Technicians to join our client’s team! This company specializes in maintaining residential and commercial pools across the Tulsa metro area. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors, be mechanically inclined, and have a strong attention to detail.
This position involves traveling between customer sites using a company-provided truck, so a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary with weather) + 1 required Saturday per month and additional as needed
Pay: $15–$20/hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities

Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, brushing, and vacuuming.

Test and balance pool water chemistry; add appropriate chemicals as needed.

Inspect pool systems for proper operation and report issues promptly.

Perform basic maintenance, such as replacing filters and maintaining pumps.

Troubleshoot and assist in minor repairs of pool equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems (for experienced techs).

Maintain accurate service records using a mobile app.

Communicate clearly with customers and the office team regarding completed work and any issues found.

Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Previous experience working with pools is required (cleaning, maintenance, or service).

Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Ability to swim and work safely around pools.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience using hand tools and following written instructions.

Basic smartphone skills to log work through an app.
Preferred Experience (for higher pay range $18–$20/hr)

Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and filtration systems.

Experience troubleshooting pool systems, including plumbing and electrical components.

Prior experience in pool maintenance, HVAC, or related mechanical/electrical fields.
