Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a part-time remote Administrative Dispatcher position with a company who handles language interpretation and translation services.

 
As a Dispatcher for Language Interpreters/Translators, you will be responsible for coordinating service calls, scheduling service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of client issues. 
 
This position is part-time to start, but could lead to full time within 90 days. 
 
Hours: Monday-Friday 12p-5p with occasional morning hours work required
Pay: $17-$20/hr DOE
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Receive service requests from clients and assess the nature and urgency of the issue
  • Coordinate and assign service interpreters/translators based on the client need
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, interpreters/translator’s assignments, and work orders
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on job status and estimated completion times
  • Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and schedule service calls based on client needs and interpreters/translator’s availability, qualifications, payments, language requested, etc.
  • Handle escalated situations with professionalism and ensure resolution to customer satisfaction
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, filing, and generating reports.
  • Prioritize requests from Clients in work-flow

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as an administrative scheduler and office support professional
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using computer software and systems for scheduling and communication (Emails; Word applications, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Must be able to answer phone from home, professional work environment
  • Must have a computer and high speed internet access
  • Available to attend some in person meetings (Oklahoma)
Bonus skills: 
  • Proficiency with scheduling software programs (ex: Aqua Schedules or similar)
  • Understanding of the Judicial System process
