Job Description
Are you an experienced PDI Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working with farm and construction equipment? Our client, a well-established and reputable equipment company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and ensure all equipment meets high performance and safety standards before reaching the customer.
Hours: 8a-5p M-F
Pay: $18-$23 DOE
Responsibilities:

Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections on new and used agricultural and construction equipment.

Inspect all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to verify proper operation.

Identify, diagnose, and repair any deficiencies found during inspection.

Verify fluid levels, torque settings, tire pressures, and safety features meet manufacturer specifications.

Perform equipment setup and assembly as required prior to delivery.

Accurately document all inspections, findings, and repairs completed.

Communicate effectively with service and sales departments to ensure customer readiness.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Assist with occasional service or warranty support as needed.
Job Requirements
Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a PDI Technician, Service Technician, or similar role working with agricultural or heavy construction equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, measuring equipment, and hand/power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and inspection forms.

Excellent time management and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Must have a valid driver’s license and own tools.

CDL or forklift certification is a plus (not required).
