Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a PCB Quality Inspector with a company in Tulsa, OK specializing in robotic systems.
This role is crucial in maintaining our high- quality standards. It involves inspecting high-technology Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) populated with SMD and PTH components and quality-controlling finished electronics products. The small job batches ensure a varied and interesting role, with various visual inspections and digital multimeter testing in our manufacturing areas.
This is a 6 month assignment that may be opened up long-term depending on business needs.
Hours: 6a-4:30p
Pay: $25/hr
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspection of assembled and partially assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic assemblies, according to IPC class 2 equivalent standards.
- Inspection of bare boards and other electronic components before manufacturing.
- Detailed inspection of first-off builds using engineering documentation with direct support from our local engineering team.
- Occasional inspection of prototypes, rework, and PCB modifications.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience inspecting PCB assemblies to IPC class 2 or class 3 standards.
- Ability to read and understand production documentation, including bills of materials, basic assembly drawings, and device specifications, is required.
- Experience working in an ESD-sensitive area.
- Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes and multimeters.
- Any previous experience in a manufacturing and light assembly environment is preferred.
- Working in a multi-product, mixed manufacturing environment will be required; previous experience is preferred.
