Our client is seeking an experienced Overhead Door Installation Team Lead to provide leadership, accountability, and technical support to installation crews. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people just as much as completing quality work.

This role is approximately 50% in the field and 50% in the office, serving as the bridge between leadership and installation teams. The successful candidate will be someone who leads by example, coaches rather than criticizes, and genuinely wants to see both the team and the company succeed.

Candidates with direct overhead door or garage door installation experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Those with this experience will be considered at the higher end of the pay range.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22 – $26 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and support installation crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Perform regular field visits to conduct quality inspections on completed installations
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve workmanship and performance
• Hold crews accountable while fostering a positive, solution-oriented work environment
• Help resolve employee concerns through effective communication and coaching
• Reinforce company expectations, safety standards, and installation best practices
• Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and communication between the field and office
• Identify training opportunities and provide hands-on guidance when needed
• Ensure customer expectations are met through quality workmanship and professional service
• Complete documentation, reports, and other administrative responsibilities while in the office
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• May be asked to fill in on an install if needed

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience required
• Experience in overhead door, garage door, construction, installation, or a related skilled trade
• Direct overhead or garage door installation experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate employees
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally and constructively
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and installation instructions
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
