Operations Manager - Lawn Care

We are currently looking to fill an Operations Manager position with a company specializing in lawn care, pesticide services, and tree and shrub care. Client is located in Kiefer, OK.

As the Operations Manager, this person will play a critical role in managing field teams and ensuring the efficient and profitable completion of work on job sites. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and the Owner to develop and implement strategic plans, while also coaching and developing team members to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing teams in the field or as an operations manager, with a background in the lawn care and/or pest control industry.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; some Saturdays may be required

Pay: $65,000-$80,000 salaried position

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Owner to develop and implement short and long-term strategic plans to meet company objectives, including growth and profitability goals.
• Team Management: Organize and manage crew leaders to ensure the efficient and profitable completion of work on job sites. This includes scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring team performance.
• Team Development: Coach, develop, and manage team members to achieve their goals and create a positive work environment that fosters career growth and advancement opportunities.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that client sites/properties are properly maintained according to company standards, including the quality of lawn care, tree & shrub care, pest control, and Christmas decorating services.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources, including equipment and materials, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients to address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience managing teams in the field or as an operations manager/leadership, preferably in the lawn care and/or pest control industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical fitness to perform job duties, including lifting and outdoor work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
