Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Multi Spindle Screw Machine Operator with a Tulsa manufacturing facility.
Hours: 7a-3:30p
Pay: $18-$22+ DOE
Position Overview:
The Multi Spindle Screw Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining multi-spindle screw machines used in the production of various precision components. They ensure efficient and accurate machine operation, perform routine maintenance tasks, and monitor the quality of produced parts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate multi-spindle screw machines to perform machining operations according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and fixtures onto the machines.
- Adjust machine settings, such as speeds, feeds, and tooling, to achieve desired machining results.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced and machine performance data.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and quality control personnel to address any production issues and implement improvements.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating multi-spindle screw machines is required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and machining instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and practices.
