Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Pay: $20–$22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (seasonal hours may vary)
Key Responsibilities

Perform general facility and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, cleanup, and landscaping.

Operate and maintain light equipment such as mowers, tractors, skid steers, and hand tools.

Assist with concrete, drainage, and road maintenance projects.

Support Senior Technicians with larger equipment operations and repairs.

Perform basic building maintenance and upkeep.

Follow established safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in the shop and in the field.

Work collaboratively as part of a maintenance team to complete daily and weekly tasks.

Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in groundskeeping, construction, or equipment operation.

Basic mechanical or small-engine repair skills.

Valid driver’s license

Ability to operate—or willingness to learn to operate—equipment such as mowers, tractors, and power tools.

Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-oriented attitude.

Ability to follow directions, communicate clearly, and maintain safe work practices.
Preferred Qualifications:

CDL or interest in obtaining one.

OSHA-10 or other safety certifications (can be provided after hire).
