Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Maintenance Technician position with a company located in the Port of Catoosa.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on company properties including buildings, lawns, and facilities. This role requires experience in operating various equipment such as forklifts, construction equipment, hand/power tools, skid loaders, Ag tractors, mowers, and other lawncare/landscaping equipment. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for basic maintenance on company equipment and vehicles, as well as performing HVAC system maintenance, plumbing tasks, and general facility upkeep.

Hours: 8a-4:30p

Pay: $17-$18/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance tasks on company properties including buildings, lawns, and facilities.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, construction equipment, hand/power tools, skid loaders, Ag tractors, movers, and other lawncare/landscaping equipment.
  • Perform basic maintenance on company equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform maintenance on HVAC systems including replacing air filters.
  • Handle general maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, light bulb replacements, painting, and repairing walls.
  • Operate various equipment including hauling/loading/unloading flatbed trailers.
  • Use computers, cell phones, handheld radios, and other office equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to OSHA regulations.
  • Direct traffic and use flags when necessary to ensure safety.
  • Work outdoors in all seasons and be comfortable with Oklahoma weather conditions.
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles between properties or to pick up equipment.
  • Experience operating equipment and machinery.
  • Prior experience in landscaping and/or construction.
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
  • Technical skills including computer literacy and familiarity with office equipment.
