Machine Shop Kitter
Job Description
Our client, located in Broken Arrow, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Kitter to join their Machine Shop team.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the manufacturing process by preparing and delivering materials for machine shop jobs. This includes identifying the correct material types, issuing them in the ERP system, cutting bar stock to size, and keeping inventory accurate and organized. You’ll also assist with tool management and occasionally help run CNC machines under supervision.

Hours: 7a-4:30p
Pay: $16.50-$18/hr
Key Responsibilities

Identify required materials and issue them accurately in the ERP system.

Cut materials to size using band saws; measure with tape measures, calipers, and inspection tools.

Perform basic inspection of components.

Maintain, stock, and organize material inventory; perform counts and resolve discrepancies.

Receive and properly store incoming materials and tooling.

Record all material and time transactions accurately in the ERP system.

Deliver materials to machinists as needed.

Safely operate forklifts and lifting devices.

Assist with CNC machine operations under supervision.
Job Requirements
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous machine shop or CNC experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand work orders and perform ERP/barcode transactions.

Forklift operation experience required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, D365, etc.) a plus.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
