COMP: $50k - $75k

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
  • Develop creative design concepts, including space planning, furniture layout, and color schemes.
  • Work closely with architects and drafting teams to integrate interior design seamlessly into architectural plans.
  • Select and source furniture, decor, lighting, fixtures, and materials.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and installations to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all designs meet ADA standards and relevant safety codes.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Licensing: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, with a valid state license.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in interior design or decorating, ideally within an architectural or design firm.
  • Skills: Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with architects, contractors, and team members to deliver exceptional results.
  • Creativity & Problem Solving: Strong ability to bring fresh ideas to the table and solve design challenges with innovative solutions.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around job sites.
  • Lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for design evaluation and color matching.
  • Fine motor skills for sketching and handling design materials.
  • Adaptability to changing project needs and client requests.
