Licensed Healthcare Administrator
Job Description
Our client in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a Licensed Healthcare Administrator to oversee community-based and residential programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, guiding clinical and support teams, and maintaining high standards of care and operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare leadership experience, a commitment to person-centered services, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on management.
Hours: Salaried position; typical work week averages 50 hours
Pay: $80,00-$90,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a licensed healthcare facility in compliance with Oklahoma DHS and Medicaid regulations
- Oversee healthcare, residential, and support services to ensure high-quality, person-centered outcomes
- Supervise, evaluate, and support clinical and administrative staff, including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs, and direct support professionals
- Develop, implement, and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives
- Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and family members
- Maintain facility licensure, certifications, and required documentation
- Ensure fiscal accountability through budget management, staffing oversight, and resource allocation
- Provide direct care support as needed to ensure continuity of services
- Lead internal investigations and ensure timely reporting of incidents
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and inclusion across all programs
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age and of good moral character
- Active Oklahoma license as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), Residential Care Administrator, or equivalent recognized by OKDHS
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, social work, nursing, or related field required (Master’s preferred)
- Completion of an approved Administrator Training Program and successful passage of state licensure exam
- No confirmed findings of abuse, neglect, or exploitation on the Community Services Worker Registry
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in healthcare, long-term care, or I/DD services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or administrative role
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma DHS and Department of Health licensing standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills
- Comfortable working with electronic records, data systems, and compliance reporting
- Passion for mission-driven, client-centered care
