Job Description

We are currently seeking a Level II UT Certified QA/QC Inspector to join our client’s day shift team in Claremore, OK. 
 
This is a great opportunity with a long-standing manufacturing company that values quality, safety, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced production environment.
 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quality Manager and QA/QC Team Lead in implementing company policies and procedures related to quality assurance.

  • Communicate with QC Supervisor/Manager to determine requirements, scope of work, and deliverables for various projects.

  • Perform dimensional, visual, and NDT inspections using appropriate gauges and inspection equipment.

  • Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure product specifications are met.

  • Provide training and guidance to newly hired and existing inspectors.

  • Supervise and monitor quality processes across the production floor.

  • Verify equipment calibration according to AWS, customer, and internal requirements.

  • Report maintenance or operational issues with inspection equipment.

  • Recommend process improvements to increase quality and reduce costs.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure compliance with safety policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, office staff, field personnel, and external auditors.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard work procedures.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must hold ASNT NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is a strong plus

  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead and train others

  • Ability to read and interpret shop fabrication drawings and weld symbols

  • Demonstrated experience with visual and dimensional inspections

  • Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic work environment
