Laser Programmer / Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Laser Programmer / Operator for a manufacturing facility in Catoosa, OK.
This position is responsible for programming and operating laser cutting equipment to produce precision metal components based on customer specifications and production schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a solid understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Overtime on Fridays as needed based on production
Pay: $22 – $25/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications

Create and modify programs using nesting and programming software (Metalix experience a plus)

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut sheets

Select appropriate materials and verify part dimensions and tolerances

Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure accuracy

Troubleshoot programming or machine issues and make necessary adjustments

Maintain laser equipment and perform routine maintenance

Organize and stage materials for production runs

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Minimum of 3–5 years of laser programming experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Familiarity with nesting and programming software (Metalix preferred)

Strong understanding of metal types (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum)

Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs at once
