Landscaper / Lawncare Technician
Job Description
Our client, a commercial landscaping company focused on large-scale mowing and land maintenance, is seeking dependable Landscapers / Lawn Care Technicians to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable operating mowing equipment on large commercial and municipal properties.
Schedule: Flexible (5x8s or 4x10s based on workload)
Pay: $16 – $17 per hour
Position Overview
The Landscaper / Lawn Care Technician will be responsible for operating zero-turn mowers and assisting with general lawn maintenance across large properties, including roadside and open land areas. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate zero-turn mowers to maintain large commercial properties
- Perform mowing and general lawn care on large acreage and roadside areas
- Follow assigned routes and job site instructions
- Maintain awareness of surroundings, especially when working near roadways
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any maintenance issues
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets quality expectations
- Assist with additional landscaping or maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience operating zero-turn mowers preferred
- Experience in landscaping or lawn care is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation

- No residential work – all commercial and municipal projects
- Employees report directly to assigned job sites each day
