Inventory Manager
Job Description
We are currently looking to fill an Inventory Manager role with a company specializing in agricultural equipment.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset & Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory management for parts, whole goods, and rental assets. This critical role involves developing processes, managing incoming and outgoing inventory, monitoring rental fleet operations, and analyzing key metrics to ensure efficiency and accuracy across all inventory categories. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Hours: 8a-5p M-F
Pay: $55,000-$65,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:

Whole Goods Inventory Management:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of whole goods inventory.

Develop and implement processes for tracking and documenting incoming and outgoing equipment.

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates to inventory systems.

Parts Inventory Oversight:

Monitor and manage parts inventory levels to meet business and service needs.

Supervise cycle counting processes to maintain high inventory accuracy.

Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for optimization.

Rental Inventory Management:

Oversee the management of rental fleet assets, including equipment availability, utilization, and maintenance tracking.

Coordinate with sales and service teams to align rental inventory with customer demand.

Ensure timely inspection and preparation of rental equipment for deployment.

Process Development and Optimization:

Create, implement, and refine inventory management processes for parts, whole goods, and rentals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory workflows.

Maintain compliance with company policies and industry best practices.

Metrics and Reporting:

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, turnover, utilization, and efficiency.

Generate actionable reports on inventory and asset performance for leadership.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational effectiveness.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

Work closely with sales, service, and operations teams to align inventory strategies with company goals.

Provide training and guidance to staff on inventory processes and systems.

Lead efforts to foster accountability and adherence to inventory standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Proven experience in inventory management, including parts, whole goods, and/or rental assets.

Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counts, and fleet management.

Proficiency in inventory and asset management software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and leadership abilities for cross-departmental collaboration.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
