Industrial Painter

We are currently looking to fill an industrial painter with a company in Sand Springs!

The ideal candidate will come from an industrial painting background who has experience in prepping, coating, and finishing custom metal products and ideally 1-2 years of experience under their belt.

Hours: 8a - 4:30p

Pay: $16-$18/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply paint using various methods, including airless sprayers, HVLP sprayers, and aerosol cans, on a variety of industrial surfaces like steel, concrete, and wood.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including masking, sanding, and degreasing.
• Mix and match paints according to specifications, ensuring proper consistency and color.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Inspect finished work for quality control and touch up any imperfections.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of experience in industrial painting or a related field.
• Skilled in using various spray equipment and comfortable working with aerosol cans.
• Have a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team while adhering to deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting moderate weight.
