CNC Programmer / Machinist
Job Description
Our client in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist to support precision machining operations.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who can program complex parts and also step onto the floor to run equipment as needed. The right candidate will bring strong technical ability, a hands-on mindset, and the experience to work independently in a fast-paced machine shop environment.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay: Salaried position at $70,000 per year

Program and machine parts using 4th axis CNC milling equipment

Set up and operate CNC lathes as needed for production

Create, edit, and optimize programs using FeatureCAM, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software

Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to produce precision parts

Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficient production

Perform first article inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards

Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime

Maintain accurate documentation of programs and machining processes

Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve processes

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Experience with 4th axis milling programming required

Experience operating and setting up CNC lathes required

Proficiency with FeatureCAM, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software required

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings

Strong understanding of machining practices, feeds, speeds, and tooling

Must supply and maintain personal machinist tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
