Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are currently looking to fill an Industrial Maintenance position with a manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow, OK.
As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the day-to-day operations and preserving the physical assets of the property, under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass addressing maintenance service requests, diagnosing and repairing machinery, overseeing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating special projects, and ensuring compliance with all work-related activities. In this hands-on role, your technical aptitude and resourceful mindset will be essential for ensuring smooth operations and promoting a culture of excellence.

Responsibly complete all assigned maintenance service requests.

Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions, and consult with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose and repair problems.

Dismantle defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired parts.

Maintain inventory controls to ensure cost-effective operations.

Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program."

Contribute to the advancement of the Autonomous Maintenance Program.

Coordinate special projects as directed by the Operations Manager.

Assist in overseeing work performed by outside contractors.

Monitor and maintain all building systems, including lights, sprinklers, and outside racking.

Perform grounds work, such as picking up trash, sweeping curb/dumpster areas, and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.

Promptly report any unusual occurrences or damages to the Operations Manager.

Exhibit a professional and courteous manner when interacting with vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.

Ensure compliance with all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

Job Requirements
Requirements:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or Technical school.

Two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient with use of hand/power tools

Experience maintaining plant machinery

Enough knowledge with PLC systems/programming to diagnose issues

Ability to read & interpret documents such as schematics, operating & maintenance instructions & procedure manuals.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions & decimals & compute rate, ratio & percent.

Ability to use various electronic test equipment & extensive knowledge of machine tools.

Knowledge & skill of the operation of forklifts.

Knowledge of occupational hazards & safety rules.
