Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Human Resources Director position with a company in Tulsa, OK.
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in human resources management.
We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and develop the HR department in support of the organization’s mission and strategic goals. This role will be responsible for guiding HR operations, policies, and staff to foster a compliant, effective, and engaging work environment.
Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 annually, DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives related to recruitment, retention, and talent development.
- HR Operations Oversight: Plan, lead, and execute HR policies, processes, and initiatives, including training, surveys, and performance management, to support organizational needs.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining policies that reflect current regulatory standards.
- Recruitment & Retention: Manage staffing requirements, recruitment, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent in alignment with organizational goals.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee administration of compensation, benefits, and leave programs; manage occupational health and safety and disciplinary matters.
- Metrics & Analytics: Conduct trend analysis using HRIS or talent management system data to guide strategic HR planning and improvements.
- Training & Development: Facilitate professional growth and training for HR staff to ensure a high level of service and expertise within the department.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department budget, optimizing resources to support HR programs and initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and oversee HR department staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and a constructive team environment.
- Provide regular performance evaluations, guidance, and corrective actions as necessary in line with company policy.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least five years in a management role.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred.
