Job Description
We are currently looking to fill an HR Assistant position with a company located in Tulsa, OK.
The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role serves as a critical point of contact for employees, helping to ensure the efficient functioning of HR processes while fostering a positive workplace environment.
Hours: 8a-5p
Pay: $18-$25/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documents, scheduling orientations, and conducting exit interviews.
- Prepare HR-related correspondence such as offer letters, termination letters, and employment verifications.

Recruitment Support:
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Employee Relations:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and employee recognition programs.

Payroll and Benefits:
- Provide support in processing payroll by gathering and verifying timesheets.
- Assist with benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and generate reports related to HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, and employee satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in an HR related position is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
