Job Description

We're hiring a Handyman Helper to join a small, family-owned business that values hard work, attention to detail, and doing things the right way. Whether you're just out of trade school or bring years of experience, there’s room for you to grow here.  
 
Hours: 8a-5p Monday-Friday; Some overtime may be required
Pay: $15-$20+ DOE

About the Role:

This position focuses on smaller handyman projects—not full remodels—including:

  • Drywall repair & painting

  • Mounting TVs, blinds, ceiling fans, and hardware

  • Installing mailboxes, baseboards, and fencing

  • General home repair and maintenance

You’ll work side-by-side with the owner, learning the company’s methods with the goal of eventually running your own projects and conducting estimates.

Job Requirements

Who We’re Looking For:

 

  • Entry-level to experienced (pay based on skill and independence)

  • Comfortable with hand/power tools, tape measure, and basic math

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed

  • Clean background and valid driver’s license

  • Professional communicator and adaptable in a small team

  • Comfortable reporting to various job sites using your own vehicle
