Glass Installation Helper
Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Glass Installation Helper position with a local glass company.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable with hands-on, physical work. This position will work alongside experienced installers to assist with the delivery and installation of custom glass products, primarily shower doors, panels, and enclosures, in residential homes. Candidates with construction, installation, glass, or other relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 AM–4:30 PM. Hours may occasionally run later depending on the job and installation schedule.
Pay: $17–$20/hour for candidates without glass experience. Higher pay may be considered for candidates with relevant glass installation experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of custom shower doors, glass panels, and enclosures
- Load, unload, carry, and safely transport glass and installation materials
- Assist with measuring and preparing materials for installation
- Help install hardware, hinges, handles, brackets, and related components
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Assist with removing existing or broken glass as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Clean glass and surrounding areas after installation
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling and installing glass
- Communicate professionally with customers while working in their homes
- Assist with shop duties and other projects as needed
Job Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous construction, installation, glass, or general labor experience required
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy glass and materials
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable working from ladders and at heights
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to perform physical work throughout the day
