Glass Fabrication Helper
Job Description
Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, takes pride in quality work, and wants to learn a skilled trade? Our client, a company specializing in the fabrication and installation of custom glass products, is seeking a Glass Fabrication Helper to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with shop experience who is looking to build a long-term career in the glass industry. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, show up on time every day, and be eager to learn from experienced professionals.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-Minute Lunch)
Pay: $16-$18/hr
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with the fabrication and preparation of glass products
- Read and utilize a tape measure accurately
- Support fabrication personnel with material handling and shop tasks
- Help prepare glass for cutting, edging, polishing, and assembly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Learn fabrication techniques and processes from experienced team members
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the shop
Job Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Previous fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or shop experience
- Strong willingness to learn and accept coaching
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
- Must be willing to wear required PPE at all times
