Fabricator

We are currently looking to fill a Fabricator position with a Tulsa company specializing in oil and gas related products.

As a Fabricator, you will play a vital role in the initial stages of the fabrication process. You will review blueprints, select appropriate metal pieces and components, and ensure the correct thickness and dimensions before passing them on for welding. This position requires expertise in using both machinery and hand tools to fit and prepare metal components accurately.

Hours: 7:00a-4:30p

Pay: $20-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Review: Interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine project specifications.
• Component Selection: Pull various metal pieces and components, ensuring they meet the required thickness and dimensions.
• Fitting: Fit metal pieces together accurately according to blueprints before welding.
• Machinery Operation: Operate machines such as laser cutters, radial drills, threading machines, and roll machines.
• Hand Tool Usage: Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform precise work.
• Quality Control: Maintain high attention to detail to ensure all components meet quality standards.
• Flexibility: Be willing to work in various areas as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in fabrication or a related field.
• Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in different areas as needed.
