Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and skilled in working with your hands? Do you enjoy building and assembling components, solving problems, and seeing a project come together? If so, we want you on our team!

We are seeking a Fabrication Technician to support our production team by reviewing blueprints, selecting the correct metal pieces, and assembling components before they move on to final welding. This role also involves some welding on thin aluminum to tack and fit parts before they are fully welded.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates from Tulsa Tech’s Welding or STEM programs, FFA, or individuals with hands-on experience in light construction, robotics, farm work, or mechanical assembly.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive Pay & Benefits – Including comprehensive health coverage.
  • 401(k) Match – Company match to help you plan for your future.
  • Performance Bonuses – Annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
  • Generous PTO & Holidays – We value work-life balance.
  • Growth & Training Opportunities – Learn from experienced professionals and develop new skills in fabrication and manufacturing.
  • Supportive Team Culture – Work in an environment committed to innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure the correct materials and dimensions.
  • Assemble and fit metal components before welding, primarily working with thin aluminum.
  • Utilize MIG welding techniques to tack and fit parts together before final welding.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as lasers, radial drills, threading machines, and roll machines, as well as hand and power tools.
  • Prepare and build kits for the welding department and provide support to other business segments.
  • Maintain workflow efficiency by following order of operations and ensuring quality control.
  • Work closely with welding and production teams to ensure smooth assembly and fabrication processes.
  • Identify and report material shortages, defective parts, or equipment issues.

  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
  • Basic MIG welding experience—comfortable tacking and fitting parts.
  • Experience in fabrication, fitting, or as a welder helper is a plus, but not required—we’re willing to train!
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
  • Physical capability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:
