Equipment Service Technician / Mechanic

Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Lawn and Garden Technician with a Broken Arrow company specializing in equipment sales and service.

Hours: 8a-5p; some overtime may be required

Pay: $28-$32/hr DOE

This is a full time, contract to hire position. Full benefit package offered after initial waiting period.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf/lawncare equipment
  • Participates in SERVICE EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
  • Maintains current repair knowledge of all products (gasoline and diesel) - small and large products
  • Maintains conduction of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
  • Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a near and orderly fashion
  • Completes all service reports and forms required
  • Accounts for all time and all materials used in performing assigned repairs

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5 years of more repairing small to large equipment - preferably RTVs, skid steers, backhoes, forklifts, compact excavators
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform basic to advanced repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment using technical manual procedures
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in repair of agricultural and turf equipment
  • Ability to use computer equipment and navigate computer software
  • Ability operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • Must be able to lift, move, pull or push up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to work in a shop environment (semi climate controlled)
