Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a dire hire Engineering Manager position with a Tulsa company.

The Engineering Manager provides leadership and direction to the Team Leaders, managing the department based on Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery, and Continuous Improvements priorities. Our client manufactures and operates technologically advanced equipment, which combines intricate electronic and mechanical designs.

Hours: Monday-Friday day shift (some flexibility on start time)

Pay: $130,000-$160,000

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety oversight of all engineering designs and concepts.
  • Coordination with Sales, Manufacturing, and Field Service for accuracy and expectations of designs.
  • Implementation of measure to reduce engineering induced rework.
  • Sales, Manufacturing, and Field Service support.
  • Allocation of Engineering resources
  • Coordination of staffing requirements, and election of personnel.
  • Prioritization of tasks and schedules to meet the needs of the company.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, and closely coordinate interaction of the Engineering departments.
  • Engineering design budgeting.
  • Creation and maintenance an environment of continuous improvement, with input from Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • BS Engineering degree. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in machinery manufacturing and engineering design (electrical or mechanical)
  • 8+ years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations for manufacturing and utilization of pipeline construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory methodology
  • P.E. License preferred.
  • Current passport or ability to obtain.
  • Eligible to obtain Visas for any required country of deployment.
  • Ability to adjust schedule to meet changes in demand.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with modern CAD software
