Job Description

We are currently looking to fill an Electronic Technician position with a company specializing in compressed natural gas (CNG), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) company in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for building circuit boards for CNG fuel pumps and equipment, playing a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our products.

Hours: 7:30a-4:30p; overnight stays may be required but not often.

Pay:  $18-$20/hr, DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Build and assemble circuit boards for CNG fuel pumps and related equipment.
  • Utilize your strong working knowledge of circuitry and board assembly techniques to ensure high-quality and precise construction.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to repair and maintain circuit boards as needed.
  • Prioritize safety and adhere to safety guidelines and protocols throughout all tasks.
  • Utilize your expertise in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to integrate and optimize their functionality in our equipment.
  • Work in a climate-controlled environment, ensuring optimal working conditions.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to support the successful production and deployment of CNG equipment.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in electrical technology and circuitry, with prior experience in building and assembling circuit boards.
  • Proficiency in working with PLCs and integrating them into equipment.
  • Must be able to read tape measure.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in the CNG industry is a plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or degrees are a bonus.
