Job Description

We are currently looking to fill an Electrical Software Design Engineer position with a Tulsa company.

The Electrical Software Supervisor supports a Team of Electrical Engineers who designs electrical and electronics hardware for detail engineering projects. Develops project scope work for electrical engineering and design.

Hours: Monday-Friday day shift (some flexibility on start time)

Pay: $80,000-$100,000

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Program, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for industrial robotic equipment.
  • Produce documentation, write reports, manuals, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Develop and test computer application software.
  • Troubleshoot faulty electronic components and equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally travel overseas.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university; and 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience with C/C++ for embedded microcontroller targets.
  • Experience with CAN/CANopen communication protocols.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic systems from board level to system level. This includes both bench testing and field testing.
  • Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, DMMs, etc.). Ability to solder surface mount components.
  • Experience with DC motors and controls
